MMA Cage Supplies was born out of the need for a good strong and reliable cage for our parent company Pro Kumite.

 

Pro Kumite hosts MMA events in the UK and had a problem with purchasing cages from the USA. As there were many politics involved with starting up a new event promotions company it was decided that we would build our own cage and not have to rely on anyone else. You could just imagine our first event falling apart because someone else controlled the marketplace with regard to cage hire.

 

At our first event our cage was described as the best ever seen. It was strong with no floor deflection and no movement overall when even the heavyweights threw each other round the cage. The vinyl works were crisp and noticeably lacking the usual zip ties to hold it on. Our events went from strength to strength as did the reputation of our cage. The phone calls kept coming asking for smaller cages to fit a gym. Thus was born MMA Cage Supplies.

 

Mick Holdaway the MD of Pro Kumite has a long standing background in the construction industry and has a steel fabrication section that was able to design and make anything you can think of. As this was part of an established business the monetary savings allow for the best value product on the market.

 

Meanwhile ProKumite continues to grow hosting international events as well as in the UK. Pro Kumite also manufacture their own MMA gym mats to a set specification. Fight belts that can be customised to an individuals liking, medals, MMA and Kickboxing gloves and lots more in the pipeline.
